UK uni talks today were just... demoralizing. Rachel and I left the talk all depressed and siannnn x1234567. Sighhh after seeing the requirements it just suddenly struck me that maybe I'm just not good enough. Or at least as good as I think I am.

But no point putting myself down. Crystal's right, this is all just unnecessary stress. And we don't even know what we're truly capable of yet, so why put ourselves down so fast? And maybe we're just placing expectations on ourselves, too high and too sudden that cause us to think we'll probably never get there. It might be true, but hey, equally for the opposite too right? And if overseas applications fail, there's always local unis! Not saying they're bad, (in fact quite reputable) but the prospect of going overseas to study is just so much more bloody exciting!!!! Come to think of it, other than the "Singapore is boring" reason, I don't really have any other concrete reasons for wanting to study overseas... Hmm...

Oh well. This is one of those nights I think too much while laying in bed
again. Gonna sleep 'em away!!!!!!

Had a damn WTF and quite LMFAO encounter in school today. I was subscribing to Broader Perspectives at the canteen walkway and we get a choice between a notebook and a shoebag for the free gift. They didn't have the shoebag there so I asked the dood "what does the shoebag look like?"

I'm normally damn attentive during econs tutorial k but really couldn't resist replying her lah omg really miss her too muchhhh!!!!

Best part was when she said "i'm having bio now and answering like a pro" LOL! Wish I could be there to see her rattle a whole string of cheem bio terms in class looking all impressive and #LIKEABOSS!!! Haha was so fun receiving pictures of her camwhoring with her pretty new iranian friends, her new bio teacher drawing the DNA structure on the whiteboard, her bio notes on biomolecules and the bus stop from which she takes the bus to go home.. As random as these photos might seem, looking at them already makes me super happy and relieved cos at least I know she's adapting well to her new life there and not getting egg-pelted or something HAHA. The whatsapp conversation with her totally made my day lah was so happy to the extent that I was smiling when we were discussing some politics thing in groups during gp LOL.

Shit lah I'm still struggling to catch up with work ever since orientation ended! Always lagging behind in everything and so lost in lessons nowadays :( And to make things worse I've been falling asleep the moment I get home, whether I get home at 4pm or 10pm! I always tell myself "ok just a 1 hour nap will do then i need to do some work desperately" BUT WHEN I SLEEP I WON'T WAKE UP TILL THE NEXT SCHOOL DAY!!!!! Orientation has been sooooooo tiring, been getting home at close to 10, sleeping at 12 and waking up at 6 everyday. Tired as ballzzzz but gonna push on cos this is all worth it :) missing 4 days of lessons for this is worth it, MR02 is worth it!

Birthday celebration @ tawandang was awesomeeeeeeee never thought I'd sing on stage with a live band EVER but did it all for you 3 birthday girls lah :) Singing 2 songs for y'all actually still isn't enough to represent how freaking much I love y'all lah seriously.. Sleepover at yacht club was crazy awesome and super exhausting as well I don't even know how long I slept for.. or did I even sleep? Felt barely like half an hour before I woke up (and proceeded to the hot tub LOL). Came home and took a 5 hour nap damnn shiok.

Sigh it's 1am now and my protected time is taken up tomorrow for bio makeup prac. Sianjiphua, gotta wake up shitass early again and I predict I'm gonna be tired all over again.

Monday morning was probably one of the most hardcore monday mornings I've ever experienced! There's usually protected time till 9:45 so I wake up at 8:30 but 4 days ago, I actually woke up at the usual 6:20 (i can't believe i managed to in fact). For what? TO GO RUNNING. With who? My classmates Shannon, Amos, Jac (Charlo was there too but she barely ran any shit so that wasn't counted) and one of the most hardcore runners I've ever known aka my civics tutor aka MS LIN. Freaking reached school at 7.30am (ok fine 7.40, we were late... and got scolded) and ran a round around the whole school (~3km) + 5 rounds around the track (2km) which totaled to 5km. Of course we didn't do it for nothing, she agreed to treat us to koi if we ran with her. But it just wasn't meant to be cos when we went there, KOI WAS CLOSED. WHEN DO YOU EVER SEE THE KOI AT BISHAN CLOSED!? Omgg suay ttm. Ok lah we still had gong cha but koi >> gongcha anytime. BUT THANKS MS LIN sorry that the distance we ran was probably equivalent to your warm-up distance only lah but we not as hardcore as you to run 20+ km in one day.

Btw, think my body is still not accustomed to school. I'm so sleepy when I reach home everyday although it's only 3pm or earlier. And work is starting to pile in nooooooooooooooooooooooooo. This is a good time to start working on my 2011 new year resolution (actually it's every year's just that i never ever achieve it): STOP PROCRASTINATING!!!!!

CNY coming! Not especially excited this year for some reason. But anyway, hope everyone gets a good break this long weekend. GONG XI FA CAI!

I took an afternoon nap today and I had a dream within a dream... Can't remember what the second dream was about but I remember dreaming that I woke up from an afternoon nap, which didn't turn out to be a nap at all because I was late for school the NEXT day. So when I woke up for real, I was still all confused and my brain all fuzzy thinking "what the hell is the time now!?". So I looked at my handphone clock and saw 8:30. AND THEN I majorly freaked out for that split second cos I really thought I overslept (like I did in my dream) for school the NEXT DAY. Then my brain started coming back and I looked at the sky and it was still dark i.e it was 8.30pm. JOYYY!!!!!

Hahahahaha k that was quite a retarded two layers of dream. Anyway, school has officially started and the first two days of school have been... tiring :o No more icebreakers (except for some introduction to new teachers) so we're jumping straight into lessons and my rusty brain is definitely not ready for that!!! Need some warming up first. And kept dozing off today during lessons even though I (thought I) slept enough. The hols must have screwed up my body clock! Which explains why I took an afternoon nap, cos I was soooooooo tired that I slept for 4 hours.

But yay it's friday tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!! End of the week yipee :)

Accomplished probably one of the biggest things in my life yesterday, all because of liz's sudden random urge to go running.

We ran 13km!

And not to mention, AFTER orientation dry run (plus it was war games yesterday).

Definitely one of the most hardcore experiences of my life but felt super duper good afterwards man seriously. We ran from liz's house aka bishan to city hall in 1 hour 20 mins. For once I am extremely grateful for the existence of traffic lights cos every red man means energy replenishment :)

Thanks pong for getting me to run with you!! Cos I NEVER imagined that I would + could have done it. When we started I thought I was probably gonna give up halfway, like somewhere around velocity.. BUT NOOO we ran all the way!!!!! And even got encouragement from a random angmoh woman passerby: "Go go power rangers!" cos we were wearing blue and yellow hahahahaha. Now that I know I CAN do 13km, am so motivated and pumped to run again long d next time! :D

Anw, been having dry runs the past 3 days and from the looks of it I think orientation'12 is probably gonna be pretty damn awesome! Plus with my awesome OGL group it's gonna be double awesome. TEEHEE.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! 2012 is here and I highly doubt it'll be a happy year cos of A levels but everyone should still remember to have fun cos we may have < 1 year left to live! :o LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.

On my way home from countdown sleepover at yujia's house! Getting more and more tired into the day haha freaking slept at 9AM.. and probably woke up at 10? Haha we were watching Horrible Bosses (LOL DAMN HILARIOUS... Motherfucker Jones my favourite LMFAO) and Paranormal Activity 2 omg I hate this kind of guailan movie where there'll be damn still scenes at night and you won't know what's suddenly gonna happen. GUAILAN MAX but apparently if you watched PA1, PA2 will be so mind blowing and enlightening (or at least for crystal). And then I insisted on watching Adam Lambert's True Hollywood Story on ch5 at 5am and I think most people just went to sleep lmao. Oh ya we baked awesome chocolate chip marshmallow cookies too! Damnnn sugar spammed though can feel all the fatzz swirling in my body. Then the rest of the time we just played ALOT of guitar hero yayyy think I'm damn good at singing k.

Now that the fun's over i started to think about homework and now I'm stressed againnnn sianjiphua never gonna finish them.

Okkk realized that the bulk of my takeaways are so negative but guess you learn better from them right? But it doesn't mean that 2011 was a sucky year, in fact it was pretty awesome because (cliche as it may sound) my amazing friends are really what turns all bad into good :) J1 life was hardcore and, but I still had so much fun amidst of all the shit we had to go through.

2012 is approaching, hope it will be a better year (though I doubt so.. A levels erghh sickening) and hope the world doesn't end on 21/12/2012 cos it would mean I took A levels for nothing. Sorry for the very long blog break!!!! Ok wtshit I sound as if a lot of people read my blog lah hahaha but i'm no xiaxue. Ok I bet vigi the bbb has been diligently checking my blog for new blogposts, being my loyal blog follower so sorry bbb!

So in case you didn't know I went for a softball trip for a week... to PERTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an awesome place! Thought summer would be shit cos it'd be hot but holy shit believe it or not I was freezing at least one of the nights! The chilly wind was crazy sial, worse than genting. Aside from the insane weather in aussie (and the crazy !%$#@%$#@$#%$@#%#!@!# torture we went through on one morning for being noisy asses at night and disturbing other hotel residents... that was a BAAAAAADDDD morning let's not make this post depressing), I absolutely loved Perth! Such a lepak place with a slow pace of life and not to mention very friendly people :) Ohh and cute little boys too HAHAH I remember Nicholas and Seth!! Would go back there for a trip with my friends any day, though sadly the one I just had was most probably my first and last. Anyhow, the trip to Perth was full of fun, got to bond with my batchmates, especially my roomies!!!!!!!! Omg love y'all ttm lah hahaha couldn't have wished for a better room.. for laughing like hyenas at 2+ am on the first night, for turning our sofa bed into a clothes dumpster, for choping who bathes 1st, for watching hangover II together (LOL), for always leaving milk OUTSIDE THE BLOODY FRIDGE and spoiling it (but that was just the juniors i bet), for starting to pack at 9.30am when we were supposed to check out at 9.30am, for our SECRET DOORKNOCK (*ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOUUUUUUUU*) ...................... omg too many things lah, basically i just love our room for being so full of shit and retarded yayyyyyy! And also to all my batchies thanks for the fun during training, matches and whatnot. Had sooooo much fun at the beach with y'all! Love you COWS & UNICORNS :) :) :)

Omfg that was truly the most hardcore ride I've probably EVER taken sial!! Trust me it is A LOT more hardcore than it sounds. Crazy insane shit I was flying off the float half of the time and grabbing onto the handles for dear life until my arms were weak like jelly afterwards... Frankly I can't remember a time when i WASN'T screaming :o Sooooooooooo hardcore and sooooooooooo fun even better than parasailing :D :D :D MUST MUST MUST PLAY if you come to Phuket!

Finally going for a physio session tomorrow! Have been complaining that my throwing arm hurts since season (omfg that was like april!? shit that's 7 months) but never really got around to going for physio. Just figured that it'd be better to go before our Perth trip.. and I gotta go sooner or later anyway cos this injury is doing me no good at all! My throws are deteriorating, both speed and accuracy wise, and I get so fucking annoyed with myself all the time. K whatever it is just hope my arm recovers by season next year cos you never know, one bad throw may just cost us the title.

On a brighter note, so excited for Perth!!! And my room mates are awesomeeeeeeeeeeee hehe so excited about rooming with them :) 4 MORE DAYS!

This gives me chills everytime I watch it (it was probably my 10th time a minute ago)!!!

Met up with Steph, Shannon and Ben on Thursday for a (super) mini 3C outing! Haha hasn't even been 2 weeks since school ended but already miss them :) So we went to city hall because since there was practically everything to do there eg. movies, pool, arcade, bowling we decided to just meet there and decide what to do on the spot. Had dinner at Just Acia yayyyy free flow of ice-cream and drinks sial so awesomeeeee. Saw surprisingly many rj people at Just Acia too, had a super retarded and pointless conversation with Ben about puking and diarrhoeaing and peeing at the same time (WTFFFF) and then there was a whole saga about stealing Shannon's $50 hahahahahaha.

Then went to play pool which i TOTALLY pwn at.. (freaking thrashed the guys at king of the hill pls :D)
Steph left earlier so after pooling we went around the marina square area to camwhore (partly because Shannon wanted his facebook photo count to surpass 1000 -.-)

Yep that's about it for Thursday! On Friday we had war games dry run, during half of which I was slacking and playing guitar heroes in the hodge lodge cos it was raining in the morning and then in the afternoon we played the FASTEST WAR GAME EVER in the MPH HAHAHAHA holy crap we kind of completed it in... 5 seconds!?!?!? Funniest game ever but it was actually quite fun!!!

Perth in exactly a week!!! Gonna be my first and last softball trip, which is quite sad considering I've been in softball for the past 5 years (rgs really sucks at arranging trips... stoopz), but the very fact that it's my first and last kinda makes it all the more exciting :)

Wow today felt really eventful cos I felt like I did so many stuff in one day!! Compared to days when I can just nua on the sofa the whole day watching tv and before I know it it's time for bed.

So the day didn't start off on a very good note.. We started training late so coach punished us with FIVE FUCKING SUICIDES. FIVE... FIVE!?!?!? Not one, not two, not three, not four... FIVE!? The thought of it was enough to kill me but I felt so accomplished and happy for the team after that cos couldn't believe we finished 5 sets of suicides which took us a full hour to complete. How was it...? PURE INSANITY.. i shit you not. Basically it was an crazy insane process because the distance just kept increasing at an increasing rate and our speeds were decreasing at an increasing rate. So it's like you're getting more and more tired but the distance is getting longer and longer OMFG I wanted to kill myself (hence the term suicides). But on the brighter side, we definitely ran for > 30 mins so I'm pretty damn sure all of us burnt some fats.

Then Crystal, Eunice, Iliana, Yujia and I went to Ivana's house to play and lepak cos she's moving house soon! Omg I think the suicides in the morning kinda killed Eunice by the afternoon lah she was walking so slowly and whining nonstop about wanting her food.... think it messed with her brain too she was getting so high by herself laughing at everything LOL. Played bowling at the condo bowling alley which was quite fun yet slightlyyy pathetic cos the stupid pins kept falling by themselves so even if the balls go to the gutter for both turns they will still record your score as the number of pins that automatically fell on its own LMFAO (Y) Went back to Ivana's house to play monodeal and OMG IVANA WAS SERIOUSLY BEHAVING LIKE A FREAKING BABY I SWEAR.

A photo from lung outing last week :) So glad all 5 of us finally found common time to hang out!!! RJ really makes all of us sad and busy kids sigh it wasn't that hard to find ONE day just to go out together in the past! But I'm glad we went out yayyy missed hanging out and talking with them soooooooooo much! Although stupid dinzx i.e rachel wang has gotten A LOT more violent since (even more violent than me sial) don't know what she has been learning in rj also wah piang whack all of us so hard.

Been spamming all the new movie releases recently!! Have already watched Breaking Dawn, Puss in Boots, Already Famous (the michelle chong local movie) and You are the Apple of my Eye. I'd say Breaking Dawn is the worst out of the 4 and the best is between the 3rd and 4th lah. You are the Apple of my Eye is quite sick though hahahahaha.

HOLIDAYS..... think I need to really just sit down and start revising, or rather, start trying to even understand every single shit taught after promos cos my enthusiasm for studying has gone down from 'yes ok i can do this c'mon BRING IT ONNNNN' to 'i really can't give a flying fuck about this... at least for now'. Ergh but the thought of flipping through those notes and working my rusty brain just turns me off.

13 more days to Perth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know it's gonna be an intense training, match, training, match, training, match schedule but still can't wait to soak up all the awesome australian atmosphere with my batchies and eat the 10 dollar wanton mee there LOL.

Class Chalet!!! ;D

What up guysss, had a class chalet over the weekend! Actually it's technically not a chalet, all the chalets in Singapore ran out from 19 - 20 nov so we decided to book Siloso Beach Resort which is a hotel, which was more ex but after the stay there I so do not regret staying there with the class as compared to a chalet cos it's FAWESOMEEEE.

So we headed to the beach to play volleyball after checking into the hotel and the girls were totally owning the guys we totally beat them ;) And not to mention of course I have a natural flair at volleyball HAHA shit man I pwn at serving :)

Then we went to swim at the hotel's swimming pool!!!!! Took photos and played random shit like monkey in the pool.

Went back to the room to slowly wait for our turns to bathe and then a few people went out to buy macs back for us for dinner, while some of us camwhored on the beds :)

At night we watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on HBO. Jaclyn and I were totally mindblown cos we realized that Voldemort had a NOSE in HP1!!!!!!! :O Holyyyy shit hahaha damn mindfucked check this out:

THEN after many attempts of connecting the laptop to the TV to watch a movie, we (ok actually michael did it) finally did it but sadly WE WATCHED THE MOST BORING MOVIE EVER!!!!!!! It's called One Hour Photo and it was soooooooo lame ok I don't know whether it's supposed to be damn thought-provoking or what but the movie is seriously damn bad sial. It was quite low budget because the settings of the movie were damn limited and there was freaking no climax at all!? So if you ever come across that DVD, DON'T WATCH IT it's damn bad seriously.

Slowly through the night a few people KO-ed and because a few of us i.e Jac, Jinghui, Ben, Shannon and I didn't really want to 'waste time' sleeping during the chalet we went for a midnight walk at 4am ;) It was actually quite scary because that's the period when alllllll the drunk ass people start exiting the bars and clubs in sentosa and there was this topless dude singing so loudly hahah he was obviously drunk. And cos there were drunk people all around so we were quite scared so we escaped to sit at McDonalds for "shelter" HAHAHA. Shannon kept insisting that there was this drunk dude CHASING us down the road but I think he was just being paranoid and pussy lah LOL.

Then we went to the rooftop of Siloso Beach Resort cos we kindaaaa wanted to see the sunrise (it was already 5+ am then) but shortly after all of us realized our legs got really itchy so we just went back to the hotel room to sleep for... 2 hours?

Woke up and played more bridge, taiti and STRESS (gosh i love that game hahahaha ben really sucks at it though) then checked out :)

Yep that's about it, t'was such a tiring but mad insanely awesome fun 2 days with 3C!!!! Good that we got to spend such quality time together cos I really don't see when we can have another one of these... Maybe after As? Oh god.

Went bowling + pool @ Kovan (lol my service learning place... memories) with Shannon, Ben and Jinghui after school today :) Ben is damn gey kiang trying to do his spin on the bowling ball and whatnot but it just ends up in the gutter hahahaha.

Went back to rgs to see Miss Wong on tuesday with Rachel and Crystal since we were in ion and around the orchard area. HAHA felt pretty lame going back to rgs after a year but the trip was pretty worthwhile hahaha just kept laughing at Miss Wong's incomprehensible gibberish and making her point the middle finger LOL. Saw Mr Yeo too so we just sat there and ate his grapes (not seedless walau eh), played with his Siri and just talked a lot of rubbish. Rachel told him she was in BASEBALL in rgs and he totally bought it!? LMFAO. Miss Wong said "No lah, she's in..... SCOUTS" HAHAHAHAHA WTF. And then told him that she's currently in basketball, I think he still believes it even now. After saying bye (it wasn't over) we ran to Ms Wong's car and just waited there for them to come and then forced Miss Wong to give us a ride. She did lah but she dropped us at Hard Rock which was so far off from anywhere hahahaha actually we didn't even need that ride lah just wanted to hijack her car :)

Here is a blog post dedicated to you as I promised.

So when you read this, PW has already ended! After 6 long and tiring months of PW, we finally made it. Good job for OP today by the way.

Anyway, despite the countless sleepless nights that we tanked together (or rather took turns to tank sometimes), all the times you have pissed me off for ALWAYS telling me 3 things: 1) your brain is fried 2) you cannot think anymore 3) you need to sleep cos tomorrow sure die during lessons, all the times I have pissed you off for whatsoever reasons that I'm unsure of myself, all the times I have been sooooooooo fucking pissed off (for the very obvious reasons that I'm sure you know of) and ranted to you via sms and msn, all the times I just felt like giving up on our WR because I was just so damn sick of it......... Cliche as it may sound, looking back on all of these, PW has certainly been a very very very very memorable experience, be it for the good or bad reasons.

Now, I will be VERY frank. I won't deny that the very day we first got our groupings, it was a really bad day for me and I was feeling so damn moody. I was actually really cynical of our group initially. To begin with, I didn't even know all 4 of you very well and even though you could be considered the one that I was "closest" to at that time, it was still quite awkward because I remembered I couldn't even carry out a proper conversation with you. And not to mention, you were also in my "fake" PW group, and you were just SO slack in the fake group and left me quite a bad impression that I actually kinda wished for a moment that we won't be placed in the same group. But as it turns out, we are obviously meant to be PW groupies because you were placed with me in the REAL PW GROUP as well!

But working with you for 6 months has completely changed that initial impression I had of you. You, my friend, have really put in fuckloads of effort for our PW and when I say this I really really mean it: We could not have achieved everything that we have, be it for WR or OP, without you. I know you may seem quite bochup on the surface, but I can tell how much effort you have put in for the team, like always taking the initiative to start on some PW stuff yourself, arrange group meetings, sms me to come online to do work, putting in some fancy smartart for our WR etc. It's all these little things that really reveal what a good leader, team mate, and friend you are :) I am really glad that you were appointed to be our group leader in the end because, and I'm not saying this just to make you happy but because I really mean it, you have done a frickin' amazing job at this role and it would most probably be better than what I would have done should I have been made the group leader (but thanks for annoying me and calling me the group leader to your own advantages at times arh -.- ). And although you may not seem very appreciative of the work I've done at times, that is just on the surface because deep down, I know you are :)

Again, thanks for all the memories, from the trip that only both of us made to bukit timah primary school, to the crazy shit 9-hour long pw meetings we had at the canteen/raja block, to all our think tank sessions, to the time you stayed up till 4+ am to finish the gpp yourself cos I fell asleep, to the time I stayed up till 4am to finish the powerpoint that mrs chua didn't even like..................... This journey certainly had its ups and downs, but I'm happy we resolved all the problems we encountered and moved on from there to become a bigger and better group :)

Went to Steph's house with some classmates after OP practice in the morning for some fun ;D (congrats to jac's and yinwen's groups for completing their OP!) Played ping pong for quite awhile in the clubhouse and i SWEAR Amos and I have absolutely no chemistry as a ping pong doubles team. We got thrashed 11-3 and quote Amos: "The 3 points is only because we did PW together for a year" SO true.

And then Amos dared me for 30 cents (cheapo piece of shit) to GARGLE COKE. Ok I knew something was gonna happen but I didn't know exactly what so I just did it... AND I IMMEDIATELY SPIT OUT ALL THE COKE IN MY MOUTH!!! The stupid gas will travel to your nostrils and I just couldn't contain the coke anymore hahahaha. That being said, it's worth a try (Y) Be sporting like me and do it one day!

Had a really loooooooooong dinner at S11 with Yinwen, Shannon, Ben and Weiren, just talking about many random stuff (shocking revelation was weiren's dance partner HAHAH).

2 bowls of chicken rice over a 3 hour dinner with 4 friends :) I LOVE MY CLASSMATES.

Went to ECP afterwards and 11 of us rented 2 of the 4-people-cycle thingy (i don't know what it's called). LOL the biggest mistake of the whole ride was letting Yinwen take our driver's seat!!! She set off without even knowing HOW TO BRAKE and we freaking crashed into a small pole 10 seconds into our journey!!! Moreover we were going downslope hahaha holy shit it was quite scary I thought I was gonna die :o That few seconds between the moment we realized we couldn't stop the vehicle and the moment we realized we were confirm gonna crash into the pole was E-P-I-C! LOL I think we just kept screaming and Yinwen and Jac jumped off the thing to save themselves first while Charlotte, Shannon and I didn't so we just crashed together with the vehicle. Ok that was probably the most epic thing in the whole ecp incident yesterday already hahahahahah.

Lesson learnt: Never let Yinwen take the driver's seat!!!!! Oh and we also found out that she CANNOT multi-task!!! Everytime she talks while steering she wouldn't realize we are not moving straight anymore and on the verge of travelling off the cycling path.

Okkkk I know Shannon and Yinwen are new to the game but still it was quite stupid when in their 2nd round of the game they confidently tried to accuse but they freaking guessed TWO weapons and ONE location.. Which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the game because they didn't find out WHO IS THE MURDERER!?!?!? LOLLL.

Can't believe it's OP week this coming week!!!! Freaking outttttttt. Can't wait for friday to come (yeah mine's the last day FML). I'll be so overjoyed on Friday that I might just turn into Rebecca Black.... seriously.

I have made so many kinds of decisions my whole life, big or small: what flavour ice cream to get, what colour highlighter to buy, which spectacles to pick, whether to take 105 bus from rgs to toa payoh mrt or just be lazy and cab to j8, whether to become a prefect in sec 1, whether to spend 40 mins wisely to do a tutorial or just to heck it and watch glee instead......... But right now the effects of the decision I'm making is gonna carry itself forward and probably impact myself in so many possible ways in the future. Never knew I could be faced with such a huge dilemma at only age 17... But maybe this push is good because if not I'd just continue dwelling in my naive belief that important decisions can come later because there is still time.

Finally got over OP dry run... Been working on the script and prezi like a dog for past few days, nights and midnights that when I looked into the mirror after my bath, got the shock of my life noticing how bad my dark circles were!!! Not as if OP's over but I say it's time for a break!!!

OP dry run today went pretty okay haha I just remember that it was freeeeeezing cold and that I was laughing alot. So many funny moments when the class gave feedback to the presenting group..

Happy Teacher's Day!

Went back to RGS today and I've NEVER felt so happy + laughed so much for a really long time I swear. Just seeing and talking to and laughing with teachers made my day :) Ms Wong was wearing the exact same outfit as previous years, Tiffany was just being anti-social and refused to talk about wayne as usual, Mr Yeo was wearing some weird silver surfer tee LOL, Mr De Souza as usual in some toot outfit from his tday performance and lastly, took awesome photos with Mr Toh (hehehe). Sadly Vicky is on weekday facebook hiatus so I shall just wait till she uploads the photos then I'll blog it :)

Accomplishment of the day: Managed to walk through Queens staffroom HAHAHA. But got chased out (very kindly, that's one good thing about not being in rgs anymore) cos the school was in the process of setting EYA papers and scared kena leaked!?

Managed to sneak into Bad Teacher using Dharini's (ok fine, yujia and inez y'all too ok don't feel too under-appreciated) ingenious plan. Long story cut short we couldn't buy tickets for Bad Teacher cos it was m18 so we bought first rows for Smurfs just to get into the cinema and WE DISCOVERED AN EXIT THAT LEAD TO CINEMA 9 where bad teacher was showing!!!!!!!!! Damn complicated plan lah hahahahaa had to escape in groups so yujia + dharini ended up missing 30 mins of the movie WTSHIT. Oh well but at least everyone got in eventually :)

Anyway, SO MANY funny moments today I might have grown some abs from all the crazy shit laughing.

Hahahaha took some pretty awesome neoprint-like (strictly speaking they're not neoprints) photos at the arcade yesterday with my bro and sis in law :) My bro so epic in the 3rd photo sial. Watched Final Destination 5 today with my favourite people ^ at NEX! Thank goodness we managed to sneak in (it's m18), I thought the uncle who was tearing our movie stubs was gonna ask for our ICs when he paused for a moment there... Phew.

FD5 is such a guailan movie!!!!! Shit sial I freaking hate not knowing when something gory is just suddenly gonna happen!! The gymnastics nail scene was sooooooooooooo guailan I was cringing and covering my eyes with the popcorn. The squished bouncy eyeball was so guailan too omfg how come the writer so sadistic!?

Overall I'd say the plot is quite dumb and the gore wasn't exactly m18 standard, more of nc16 (personal opinion don't blame me if you get grossed out ttm)... 2.5/5? 2 for the good looking guys and 0.5 for the big effort in making the movie guailan.

Dinner was hilarious hahahahahaha. This bug landed on the order slip and the waiter didn't see it and was bringing it closer and closer to Evelyn she got more and more agitated. "There's a bug!!!!!! There's a bug!!! OMG there's a bug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" HAHAHAHA the waiter kept giving her the confused look lah but he eventually figured out Evelyn's point and squished the bug. I think Evelyn just attracts insects.. Like how a giant ass flying cockroach landed on her pinafore during ss options last year and mr leek saved the day!

Had WAR GAMES sub comm dinner at NEX sky garden today! Thought of a few games and the sliding on soap game is damn epic hahahahaha JJ's comments are the best: "Ask them wear the Whisper lah" LMFAO!!!!

Liz and I were so attracted by the water park thingy at the sky garden (true kiddos at heart) and we just felt like we HAD to run through the water fountain thing even though it meant our school blouse + skirt getting frickin' wet. Just when we were ready to dash the security uncle came over and told us "No school uniform allowed arh..." :( But our minds were SO SET on doing it we sat at the bench for 20 mins planning of how to get the uncle to walk away from wherever he was standing so he wouldn't see us running through the water park. In the end we figured the uncle probably could tell we were too suspicious so we went to buy food first.

When we came back up WE SAW THE UNCLE WALK AWAY AND WE WERE SO EXCITED WE JUST RAN THROUGH THE FOUNTAIN CARRYING OUR FOOD LOLOL. And got ourselves wet as hell (Y) Our only other takeaways from this 'adventure' was a super cheap thrill as well as loads of crazy fun and laughter. Hahahaha doing something this stupid and childish felt so damn good cos for that moment it really takes your mind off everything else :)

Teachers Day in about a week! Can't wait to go back to RG and visit all our awesomepossum kickass teachers!!!!!!

Been sick the past 2 days... I have no idea why I fell sick. Maybe it was the accumulated late nights and unhealthy diet (texas chicken + mos in a day!?) and the incredibly cold-like-Antarctica classroom we had to freeze our butts off on Monday for 3 hours + eating 2 subway cookies in one shot probably triggered it off. Things were well until I went for training.. If I didn't even feel good doing FENCE batting then something must've been wrong. True enough, I went home early and my bro brought me to the doctor cos my fever was soaring like maddddd.

The visit to the clinic was quite interesting (hahaha who says that when you're the patient) cos I could actually apply ECONS in real-life situations. When we arrived the number was 108, and our queue number was 116. But we had to wait almost 1 fucking hour for 8 numbers.. I felt so cold and shitty I SERIOUSLY felt like charging into the room and yell at the doctor "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING TAKING SO LONG FOR 1 FREAKING PATIENT!?!?!?" (obviously i wouldn't have done that then... my bro doesn't even know i say 'fuck' oops =x) When it was finally our turn I then understood why he took so damn long. I've gotta say he was unlike most doctors I've encountered. The most common ones would just shine a torchlight in your mouth, ask you to say 'aaahhhhhh', tell you you have a throat infection, hence the fever, prescribe some pills, issue a 1-2 day mc and you're good to go.

But THIS doctor explains exactly why medical treatment are merit goods I tell you (merit goods are goods deemed beneficial by the government and hence are over consumed blah blah blah boring). So he took my temperature first.. superrrrr high fever 39.6 degrees. "Do you have a cough?" "No." "Any sore throat?" "No." "Runny nose?" "No." "Blocked nose?" "No." "Is your nose quite sensitive?" "Uhh yah quite.." But guess what, he still gave medicine for cough, runny nose and sore throat anywayyyy (partly cos my bro was damn kiasu and just agreed to whatever medication the doc suggested lah). Then he explained realllllyyy long (if he did that for every patient no wonder i waited so damn ass long) to my bro about the symptoms and what it could mean, and said his bet was influenza. THEN he went on "if the fever still persists by wednesday, i suggest you come down for a blood test in the morning cos it could be dengue fever, cos as you know arh, dengue fever can be fatal".

Blood test!?!? Are you freaking kidding me!? Are things really that serious!?!?!?

Eventually, we paid 50 bux for a bunch of medicine (half of which I haven't touched cos there was no need for them).... and I didn't go for a blood test today, phew. Luckily my fever was totally gone by this morning. Even if it was the slightest 37.6, my bro would've insisted bringing me for a blood test. Which I am quite freaked out by.

Anyway, I don't blame the doctor for recommending a blood test (cos you really never know what's going on in your body) and prescribing a bunch of medicine that I may not need. I'm just wondering if I would have gotten better anyway if I just stayed at home and took my own fever pills rather than visiting the doctor.. because it's precisely of such incidents that such goods are over consumed.

Sorry if you had to endure that pretty nerdy post... Just my thoughts ;) Most importantly, I'm all well now and ready to go to school tomorrow to kick bio spa's ass!!!

Yay went to study with Ivana at woodlands starbucks today :D Hardcore k from 11 to 7.. Ok lah it wasn't 100% hardcore. Some in betweens included me stealing her phone when she went to the toilet to delete a photo of us where I looked damn ass unglam (which she insisted using as her phone wallpaper) and many damn failed attempts of using the leme cam app on my phone -.- Hahaha oh and Ivana's chem mock spa worksheet is hardcore HOLEY omg hahaha it's as if the reaction was carried out on her paper lah. Freaking lots of holes everywhere!! We're both so damn freaked out about chem spa.. Chem A LEVELS spa.

Can't believe I'm taking my A levels in just about 9+ hours!!!! I will never know how I did for it but this 7.5% may just be that important for my real A next year. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh shit man.

IHC is over!

Played war games IHC today after the insanely long and draining day (4 lectures, 1 tutorial and an econs lecture test wtpongz)! It was actually quite fun ~~only when we were winning~~ but oh wells MR got 5th in the end, lagged at the last round! 3 guys had to run up 7 stories and memorize 30 POKEMON UNKNOWN SYMBOLS and run back down to instruct us to draw it! Woah hardcore haha they were dripping sweat like mad. That round really slowed us down cos the symbols were actually quite tricky.. But oh wells good job still MR! It was a good workout wheelbarrowing and running around 3 levels.

Went to watch IHC track SO EGGCITING! Wah piang MR boys 4 x 400m freaking pwning the track hahaha by the time the last dude ran he was leading by a mile! Overall MR got 4th for track, but still I have to say it was quite a good experience watching the race and cheering my heart out for MR :)

OH OH I GOT THE IHC SHIRT FYEAH ~~although I didn't win any IHC~~ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bowled (lost by a point dammit), pooled (lost quite terribly), arcaded and pwned him at basketball and mario kart, mashed the street fighter game buttons so hard i think we might have damaged it, introduced my bro to gong cha and he had his first cup ever, went to a really awesome toy shop (bought monodeal!!!!!! yesshhh been wanting to own a set myself), looked at crazy expensive collectible figurines and anime swords, had an awesome jap buffet at UE square with my family (sashimi spam yeahh awesomeee...), went to this super chillax place at robertson quay (it's where the angmohs of singapore congregate... so damn chill) for ice-cream, and came home :)

I love Sundays like these. Especially when there's no school the next day ;) Hehe. Declare more holidays RJ!!!!!!!!

TGIF!

Survived the first official week of school whoopeeeee! Wasn't that bad. Apart from the super lame boring grooming course we had during civics lesson yesterday which I fell asleep halfway through (so damn sleepy i was dreaming).. Hello I know I need to bathe at least once a day and wash my hair and body and everywhere to smell good! LOL. Why didn't we get balloon sculpting or magic tricks!? Next week have to go through some dining etiquette shit and learn about all the different forks and spoons WAH PIANG -.-

I'm really really really pleasantly surprised about gp results, never really expected that of myself! Knowing that i CAN actually do it just gives me this sudden surge of motivation to study extra hard for gp... and everything else. I hope this surge is not some temporary adrenaline shit but one that will push me harder for promos and hopefully all the way till A levels.

Today was quite an awesome day :) Partly cos of GP and I laughed so much today at so many random stuff!!! Like Steph's super dubious and made up facts in her gp essay (which i think helped her cos the teacher didn't even underline it or anything!? OMG need to be better at faking facts). "Japan suffered a GDP deficit of 2%" HAHA total bullshit!!! And writing some cheem quote about nuclear energy and ethics and wrote in her paper that some random US general said that!? HAHAHAHAH ok it actually sounds quite believable.

Shit lah I'm so bad and unoriginal at faking facts that I went up to her and said "Steph, do you know that Bahrain suffers a 3% GDP deficit due to corruption?" ROFL should have known better than to steal her GDP deficit shit.

Went out with Crystal to........................ draw. HAHA yah, draw. We were on our way to ion when this whole annoying crystal's-bro-urgently-needed-his-contact-lenses-which-were-at-home-in-pasir-fucking-ris saga began and long story cut short, i had to wait for her at ion for about 1.5h (and bought a uniqlo minnie mouse tee hoodie HEHE) and she having to pay 60 fucking bucks for a cab ride back and forth so many places. WHAT A DAY..... But at least my train wasn't stuck for 30 mins in the morning like Crystal lmfao damn suay!!!!!! Reaching school at 10.30 = (Y)

2nd day of school and I'm actually tired already. So tired I took a nap at 5pm yesterday afternoon WITH THE INTENTION OF WAKING UP AT 6.30 FOR DINNER but the next time I woke up it was 2am LOL! At least I got up to do some work (what happened to my dinner....? did my dad eat it for me?) till 6am so I wouldn't feel too guilty :)

GP lesson today was funny max!!!! We were discussing genetic engineering/ modification and miss lin told us to write examples of those on the board. So amos wrote "Charlotte's mutant strawberries" (fyi he was referring to these bigger than usual strawberries that charlotte's maid always packs for her for school) and under reasons for gm i wrote "bigger is better eg. charlotte's giant strawberries" and miss lin somehow just didn't see "strawberries" and asked "What's with all these charlotte's giant and charlotte's mutant...?" HAHAHAHA rofl!!!!

Then steph asked some thought-provoking questions after gp but I was too sleepy so I totally spoilt the moment hahahaha.

Watched Transformers 3 gold class today morning!!!! Super comfy reclining chairs with blanket and can order food like restaurant sial :) Damn shiok but cos the chair was too comfy + my movie was at 9.30am I almost fell asleep... Anyway,Transformers is quite good!! Damn action packed (and hot guys packed too hehe). But I don't really like the new girl though.. So useless and not even as pretty as megan fox. Show face only.

CTs ARE OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't wanna think about it anymore cos if I do I will just find out I made more mistakes.

That being said, I'm not getting the usual high post-exams feeling for some reason.. Probably cos I know it's gonna be a really really really short break before all the work that we've been putting on hold (eg. fucking pw) is gonna haunt us again very soon. Yes, life goes on... 1st J1 CTs are not A levels.

Reflecting on how painful and depressing studying in the june hols was, I know I only got myself to blame! Gotta realize that JC ain't no sec school cos one topic just comes after another non-stop and when the school finally teaches up to topic 10, I easily forget 1-9. Which accounts for the painful mugging process in june hols cos we have to mug 1-9 all over again like new topics, WHICH SUCKS. SO.......... Steph and I have pledged to be consistent students from today onwards (or maybe from tuesday onwards when school begins) so that studying for promos (which is gonna be 100x more stressful than what we just experienced) won't be so torturous. YES! WE CAN DO THIS ;D

Anyways, today was so damn FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!!! Went out with Charlotte, Steph, Yinwen, Jac, Shannon and Ben to Kbox @ Cineleisure from 6 - 9pm. Hahahahaha omg sang and laughed (and screamed like crazy at yinwen who accidentally cancelled my Whataya Want From Me when i was halfway through it LMFAO!!!!) so much that my voice sounds funny now.

Going to kbox with this awesome group of people is interesting cos we have quite different music tastes lol. Jac's and mine are mostly the same (ADAM AND DAUGHTRY FYEAH), Steph just likes damn hapz and popz songs in general, Shannon LOVES super trashy songs like britney spear's "3", beyonce single ladies etc and Yinwen superduper loves chinese songs from like jay chou and jj lin. I have never felt so screwed for exams.... like for real.

Back in rgs, I'd procrastinate and then do last minute revision for exams. And then I'd think "Ok, so maybe procrastinating wasn't that good cos last minute studying is uber stressful. I shall start earlier next time." But then my results turned out okayish so... I'd still procrastinate every exam since I knew that last minute chiong method worked pretty well for me.

But right now........... I FUCKING HATE MYSELF FOR PROCRASTINATING THE FIRST 2 WEEKS!!!!! And it's not like I was spending the first 2 weeks doing other useful stuff. It was just.... play, play and play. Now I just feel like burying myself in a deep deep shithole and come out after CTs end. Or better still after A levels end.

JC work is fucking never ending and I HATE IT!!! Shitass, everyday is like EOYs and I really can't wait to get my JC life over and done with and GET OUT OF RJ.

2 days left and I'm not done studying for all 4 subjects.... GG. Result of procrastination. Only can cramp as much I can within these 2 days now...

Just when I finally brought myself to log onto discovery to do the chem quiz it goes under construction!?!? FML -.-

Went to have macs breakfast with Crystal and Ivana yesterday before going to school to study + eat shitty slow service jap buffet nihon mura at cineleisure (which reminds me.. i'm gonna write a complaint email! really fucking horrible service sial) + go to a flea at scape. Hahahahaha Ivana damn funny ask the macs auntie "what is love weekend breakfast?" LMFAO! Already told her before that it just means that weekend breakfast is extended to 12pm instead of the usual 11am on weekdays but she didn't listen and thought that "love weekend breakfast" was a MEAL itself hahahaha! She want the auntie check "love" "weekend" and "breakfast" for her or what lol. Funniest shit!

Today was rather uneventful (other than the fact that my dad cooked lunch and he damn gei kiang go put SALT in the rice thinking it would be tastier and my mom got so pissed off cos the rice just tasted weird -.- salt in rice!? seriously!?!?) cos I just spent the whole day studying. My brain is so saturated now.. Have been studying since 11am (it's 12am now) but I don't feel like I've absorbed alot. Week 2 is officially up and I'm really really really really really really scared for CTs.... and for A levels :O Freaking unprepared.... Lunched at thomson Astons with Ivana, Eunice and Esther and then went to Eunice's house to study :D It was hard finding a SPACE to study in the first place omg her house is really the ultimate mess sial. Finally managed to find one after moving aside all the food HAHAHA... And I keep doubting all her food and drinks lah cos the first time I went there, the ferrero rocher was expired and the open packet of potato chips had been left there for 1234567 years... Did fucking math and laugh our asses off at loser wipeout contestants and some taiwan reality tv show... and kept slamming Esther that's she's fat HAHA (i still love you asso you know it ;) )

Haven't done a proper (and my proper i mean at least a few paras + some photos) blog post for rearry long!!!!!!! At this rate my blog will be dead by next year especially towards A levels :O A levels is a scary thought.... Even a stupid lecture test freaks me out enough, just imagine the amount of stress during As! And speaking of As, I previously mentioned that we may not even get to know our results if the world ends on 21/12/2012 right? Wasn't there some new thingum going on saying that the world will end on 21/10 THIS year!?!? Omg... How come all these freaky predicted apocalypse dates are nearer and nearer!? Then again it was SUPPOSED to end 6 days ago on 21/05, according to some religious stuff. And I didn't know until the date passed. So..... Ignorance is bliss, wish I didn't know that the world MAY end on 21/10/2011 so that I'd just live life normally and when we all die it'd be too sudden for myself to even realize that i'm dead rather than living the suspense...... We fought hard.

We played well.

But sometimes things just don't go the way we want it to. Like what coach said, the ball is round so anything can happen right?

I'll be outright lying if I said that I didn't want to win this so bad. I mean, who doesn't right? But since the game's already over, let's just look back on how far we have come as a team and appreciate every moment we spent with each other. All those trainings, cccs, running competitions... Although we trained hard to win, I wouldn't say all those trainings were for nothing just cos we lost today. What's really important is the time we spent with each other in every single training, be it rain or shine, because it is through those times that we shared joy and laughter, and where I really got to forge new and strong friendships :)

So.... A'div season is officially over, and once again silver is the new gold!

I will miss all the seniors alot alot alot :( Thanks for all the good times, YA?

Been a week since I last updated. School's just busy like that, especially with season ongoing..... Speaking of season, we're playing our semis against NJC on Tuesday and finals (i assume) on Thursday!!!! Exciting. I really x10000 hope AND believe we can win this whole damn thing! Yes. Let's bring our A game :)

12S03C went to the Workers' Party (Aljunied) rally at Serangoon Stadium on Thursday for our learning journey! Hahahahaha. Quite an interesting experience sial. Really get to experience the SINGAPORE SPIRIT at the fully-packed stadium.. even in the tiniest ways.

Like when the rally just started, the mic was damn soft and alot of people on my side couldn't hear any shit. So almost everyone started chanting "TIA BO, TIA BO, TIA BO, TIA BO....................." (means "cannot hear" in hokkien) in unison!!!!!!!! Hahahaha funny as hell lah. Damn fun to just chant along with the crowd. And I love how they keep asking rhetorical questions and the crowd's replies.

"NO!!!!!!!!!!!"
"DO YOU WANT A FIRST WORLD PARLIAMENT?"

Lmfao she said this was part of our learning journey to expose our foreign friends to local food culture........................ HAHAHA bullshit lah she just wanted to eat lah. She eats like freaking alot!?!? Eat spicy mcnuggets, kope our shaker fries, red bean ice cream, kope everyone's dessert at chomp chomp, stingray, satay, ngoh hiang......................... LOL but at least she has the discipline to run 20km at one shot... fit ttm..... Respect man hahaha.

Kept extorting information about her love life when on the way to chomp chomp in mr leonard's car too haha shit man her love life was damn hapz!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn drama too lah, i thought certain things can only happen in tv shows but apparently not :O
